Our hybrid analysis philosophy combines the breadth of untargeted metagenomic sequencing with the precision of curated, organism-specific analyses. Every sample is first evaluated using comprehensive untargeted workflows to characterize the complete microbial population. When pathogens or organisms of interest are detected, our curated taxon-specific modules perform deeper analyses—including phylogenetic characterization, variant analysis, antimicrobial resistance profiling (where applicable), and other organism-specific investigations—to provide a higher level of confidence and biological interpretation.
